I guess they think hate is funny. I'm not opposed to political humor, but it has to be funny. All their "bits" are just spewing hatred of Trump and Republicans. It's not funny. It's sad. And I'm not even a fan of Trump, personally. But it comes across as a personal vendetta, not comedy.

Well he’s an asswhole so there’s that. I have read that Gutfeld has more viewers than any of the other ones including Colbert. And getting a progressive Emmy doesn’t impress me at all.

You’re point of view. His skewering of Trump started when Trump stood for election. Enough people find him funny to propel his show to #1 in late night. Hatred? That’s Trump paragraph, period, end of story.

Now, you pulled politics into the thread, so go ahead and lead the rest of the gallery in accusing me of doing so.

Never made any statements about what Gutfeld says or does, just said I read he has more viewers. I have watched a few short segments of Colbert so I know his spiel.

Ah yes. You're one of those that believes only one side can hate. Or that only one side is justified in their hate. I don't find them funny. Not gonna lie, once upon a time, Kimmel amused me. Then every show became about his hatred of Trump. I want to laugh, not listen to a grown man with a vendetta. Never cared too much for Colbert. I have heard that it costs far more to produce Colbert's show than the revenue it brings in. Doesn't matter what you're rated if you're losing money.

FTR, I don't care for politicians in general. I don't care if it's Trump, Biden, Obama, Bush, Republican, Democrat. I don't give a damn. Most politicians are corrupt and do nothing to serve their constituency. You can take your liberal butthurt over to the PF.

Gutfeld may have higher audience numbers, but then, he’s not late night. He’s on at 10:00pm EDT.

You watched a few short segments of Colbert, so you “know his spiel” and characterize it as hatred. That’s a prejudicial point of view or voluntary ignorance of what hatred is.
