Doug Atkins was (arguably) more dominant than Reggie White.

Had they played in the same era, Atkins would have backed up Reggie. Just my opinion.

Had they played in the same era, Atkins would have backed up Reggie. Just my opinion.

Not if that era was Atkins’...Reggie wouldn’t have been allowed on the field!
But if it was in the 1980s, Atkins would have been on the OL.

Atkins was 6'7" 260lbs................... In the '50's.
Played basketball at UT and was runner-up in the high-jump in the SEC at 6'6"

Dude would not have backed up anybody.
