If that's the deal...then for one day, and one day only....
Call me a Fulmerite.

I cant wait till Phil picks against us next year in a game next year lol

If he honestly thinks we are going to lose, that's what he should do. I hate it when analyst pick their alma mater to win when it is fairly obvious they are not going with their true opinion.

Phil is gonna jump at the first big time opening that comes up next year in a major conference.

If they will have him. Not hating on Phil, but I don't think his market value is that great.

You're right about market value. But if he waits too long, it'll only get lower. Case in point: Terry Bowden was just named head coach at D2 North Alabama.

Phil will end up at some dead end program in a rebuilding mode. He's damaged goods after taking UT down.

No way. Phil will go to a decent program. After a couple of years that NC and 75% winning percentage will look good to an AD. Phil is also known as a great recruiter and a class act. Not saying that Fulmer ran a perfectly clean program but he was never put on probation and I could easily see him stepping in to a D1 program recovering from NCAA sanctions.

Edit: Not to mention what his fundraising abilities could do for a lower budget D1 program.

I think PF would be a decent hire, but he would have a challenge putting together the kind of staff he had at UT, particularly on defense.

Fulmer has few options and D2 or 1AA is probably the best he can hope for. Not many quality football schools in 1A are going to go after an older coach, who has been in charge of a declining program.

I've had about enough of phil fulmer. He took the program down to mediocrity, took millions in buyout money, and is now out there making more money as an "expert" on TV. He should give back some of that UT money!

I think a lot of coaches would be glad to have CPF's record of "mediocrity".
