I loved how he got in players faces today. I havent seen that in long time. I think he grabbed a few by facemask. Maybe this change will spark a fire in the offense. We will know in a week

I noticed that as well. He's a lot more animated on the sidelines than most people think, but he definitely was really in some faces today. When he was interviewed at halftime he was definitely pissed.

I'm glad to see Fulmer get in some of these guys faces and front them out on their mistakes.

I think Fulmer is hearing the criticism and trying to respond. I think he might be really worried about this season. Not as worried as he is gonna be after he see's the UCLA/BYU score.

I too like seeing Fulmer get fired up but he needs to do that from the 1st snap of the 1st quarter. Waiting until after the half is waiting too long.

Getting into faces doesn't do any good if you keep putting them back into the game to continue their mediocrity. See Luke Stocker.

exactly. Accountability is a much bigger problem than this silliness about demeanor.

My friend's uncle is close to some guys on the staff, he told him that Fulmer has never been as pissed as he was after UCLA. Apparently Fulmer has been up in people's faces for 2 weeks now.

It would be hard to get back on the field with a foot in your ass Red Foreman style.

Let's bring him in as the get back coach.

I'm not normally a Fulmerite, but ...

I bet Fulmer's more worried about the state of the Tennessee football program (and his legacy) than he is about his job. I mean, face it ... Fulmer's not going on the dole if he gets fired. Fulmer loves Tennessee football. He wants to see the Vols win every bit as much as any of us do. When he eventually leaves Tennessee, he'll still be a Volunteer and continue to live and die with the team. We may not always agree on the way he does things, but let's at least give him credit for loving the Vols. I think the passion he's showing now is a reflection of that.
