No matter how he views the success of his program, he must, unless he lives in a shell, know the consensus of fans are ready for a change. You reach a certain point in a program where irreputable long-term harm is done. Recruiting drops off, the fan base diminishes, money dries up, perception of the program declines. We are beyond the point of diminishing returns. Changes are imperative.
