Well, my money would be on Hubb's info - I don't see anything in that article that supports the idea that Cignetti has won the job.

I am hearing that he is likely going to stay on the west coast and be the OC at Cal. I am trying to get another confirmation, but I am hearing he is out of the equation at Tennessee.

Just when I was getting excited about the idea of Cignetti... none of the other candidates rumored are striking me the same way.

That would certainly spice up the Spring but I thought I read somewhere that Mallet likes Ar-Kansas.

He has family in Arkansas, but if he's smart Arkansas' not a bright option.

They have no one returning

Does Cig run any spread? if not what offense does he run?

Whetever that crap Fresno St ran a few years ago. Don't remember it having a lot of spread tendencies. Keep in mind that Cignetti was refered to Fulmer by the Manning Gang (Peyton and Archie). So don't expect Cig to be much different than what Peyton/Cutcliffe are used to seeing.

"That crap" produced a pretty high powered offense. He is not my first choice, but we could do a lot worse.
