There is a point when you just know a coach's career at Tennessee is over.

When the Chickens stopped Little Man Stewart on that 2-point conversion try in '92 that was the END of John Majors.

When an "injured" Tony Harris charged down the sideline to jump into a fight at Rupp Arena, you knew Jerry Green was DONE.

Sturday night, when Nick Stephens (the ONLY player on Tennessee's offense with an ounce of fire) was pulled for the hapless Crompton, the end of the Fulmer era became a fact.

It may take the rest of this season, heck fire, it may take next year, but Phillip Fulmer is DONE as the Head Coach of the Volunteers. And his reign as HC ended in Columbia, SC, right where it began.
