Fulmer

What if Fulmer's job was connected the Holly's coaching performance? He would clear her office his self.
There is a very good reason for never hiring favorite sons. It took forever to get Fulmer fired the last time. Now, it is an impossibility.

Lady Vols are a "blue blood" BB program just like the Duke, NC, KY men's programs. If the coaching job is open there would be some of the best wanting to coach here. It pains me to see the greatness of the program slowly bleed to death.

Phil needs to figure out the Tennessee women's basketball program is more important than his friendship with Holly Warlick. When he figures that out he needs to do his job and force Holly Warlick to resign or fire her.

Go holly go. You had the best coaching job opportunity in America.
And what did you do with it? No matter how hard you work you are not getting it done.

,

No matter how hard you work you are not getting it done

This is key

It simply can't be Holly,, that isn't getting things done...she finds no flaw in herself in the post-game presser
she never references herself throughout the presser

Women's Basketball_Coach Warlick and Players Press Conference_UCLA NCAA Tournament

Not once does she say "I"
...
plenty of they's we's and she's though
If she can't admit her own shortcomings she won't address them
___________
and the two references to "how UT treats women"
passive aggressive bullying at its best

planting seeds, maybe?
setting demands up for her way out?
...
"You're firing me because I am a woman"
"If you fire a woman you better replace her with a woman"

Didn't we get beat by teams with male coaches?
_____
It's time Coach Warlick...retire before you make a friend fire
Make the one coaching decision that needs to be made by you, not Phil

Fulmer is simply not going to let her go. In his mind it is spiting Hamilton and Peterson for his termination. Though, he didn't think he deserved it with only two losing seasons in four years and all!

CPF was 152-52. Best coach at the Univerity of Tennessee in my as well as most fans lifetime, yet some refuse to accept that or respect it

Some UT fans were literally SCREAMING for Fulmer to be fired. Ever since then we have consistently been close to the bottom of the SEC.

"In regard to Holly Warlick I am only going to address this once. She took a young, inexperienced basketball team and led them to many good wins this season. While we may all be disappointed that our season ended earlier than we may have hoped, the fact remains Holly did a tremendous job with those ladies. We made the NCAA Tournament for a record 38th time in a row, and for that she is to be commended for carrying on a very proud tradition. We have a very strong recruiting class coming in for next season and Holly is the one responsible for that. Any talk of making a change in the coaching position of the Lady Vols at this point is just silly and misguided. We should all be proud with what Holly has been able to accomplish with this young group and I look forward to even more success in the coming years with Holly leading the way".-AD Phil Fulmer's future comment on Holly Warlick. Wait for it.

Yes IGNORANCE is on display in Filmers handling of this. Get Real this is becoming a national embarrassment. It IS long past time!!!!!

Clueless! It’s not as simple as you think. I hate the state of the program but Fulmer must follow a due process or lose a valuable portion of the base. I know patience for the microwave crowd is tough but necessary.
