How do you "miscalculate the speed" of the best playmaker in the country? I don't get it.

Fulmer did and Chavis did. Fulmer is taking the blame, as he should for Chavis' mishaps, but he knew and so did Chavis in what Harvin really is.

seriously, is there a link to an article or something...where they actually say this....as bad as i feel right now about the coaches, if this is REALLY true, then i'm truly at a loss of words.

It was on one of the show that Fulmer does. Its also referenced on VQ in a post.

i saw the CPF show yesterday, don't recall that comment, it would have definitely caught my attention...and being referred to in a post on another message board just doesn't qualify imo.

even with the current perception of CPF, i can't believe that they "miscalculated" the speed of percy harving, and even if they did, that they would say so publically....

makes no sense whatsoever.

"I think we miscalculated the speed of Harvin, which we shouldn't have and that allowed them to get the ball out off the 1-yard line," Fulmer said. Here is the exact quote unbelievable?jeez you think.

I didn't know Harvin scored all 59 points and played on a defense that held us to 13. Wow! Now is he superman or is Tebow?

He miscalulated the speed of Cal too.

Why kick to the best return man in the PAC10? Fulmer? Fulmer?

Why kick to the best return main in the SEC? Fulmer? Fulmer?

We can argee that the players have to make the plays, but the coaches have to give them a chance.

Cover the fastest guy on UF with a linebacker and then act surprised when you get beat.

Be the only top 25 program without a special teams coach and see what happens.

Maybe we should check the film?

Miscalculated Harvin? How about just forgetting the whole calculator for the entire team and game? I don't think the calculator left Knoxville...

Seems like he was referring to the pass from the one when Harvin beat the defender down the field. Sounds like a "we" as in team taking the blame instead of singling out the corner. Kinda like the "we's" all of you use when "we" win and then the "Fulmer's fault' win "they" lose.

I agree with this assessment.

Boy, WE really got our azz handed to us Saturday.

FYI-
Colquitt has already stated that the coaching staff specifically told him NOT to kick the ball to DJ. He admitted that it was his mistake.

i don't care what play he was referring to, the fact that he miscalculated the most dynamic player on their team tells me everything I need to know about our coaching staff.
