Again, I'm not trying to argue that Fulmer wasn't past his prime or that we wouldn't have been better off with someone else at the end of his career at UT. But to question whether he made major accomplishments in his heyday? Are you serious?

You allude to the "deceptive" overall record, what was his record against the top five in the SEC (especially this century-his last ten years), how many BCS bowls? Four times outside the top twenty (25 per cent of his career at UT), two losing seasons out of the last four. What other accomplishments?

I mean i get it when people talk about anything from 03, 04, 05, 06 etc (when shula was there) or even when Francione was there...but bama was actually pretty good in the 90s up until around 2000 hit

They always find a way to try to make the guy look like a terrible coach.

I have always loved CPF but this would be an awful move on his part. If I were him and wanted to get back into the coaching game, I would try my hand at a school like Kansas State, Louisville, or NC State.
