I think it'd be a good fit for him, would just hate to see him on opposite sidelines. Doesn't seem right. He needs to stay retired and as a Vol only

I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict minimal-to-no rioting in the streets of Knoxville. Your couches and tables are safe!

Yeah, those great teams he fielded at UT at the end of his tenure prove your point.
Listen Not allways Does The best Team Win, Nor Does The ball allways Bounce Your way. Say what You like, He's a Players Coach and he will recruit good players if he goes to MTSU!

I don't think Fulmer would go there- he wants to go somewhere he can win (UGA when/if Richt gets canned), not struggle and wear yourself out for 5 wins a season.

Wait....you sayin' Georgia would want some Fulmer once Richt gets run?

Oh, in keeping with the Le Batard theme....

Nashville strippers, get your umbrellas...it's about to rain Magic Dust!!!!!!! He lost 7 in a season at Tennesee!!!! Can he lose 10 in a season at Vandy?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!! Welch's Grape Juice mixed with melted butter -- Purple Drank!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it was just because of bad luck that Fulmer couldn't outrecruit or outcoach the Sabans and Meyers of the world. But hey, at least he dominated Ray Goff, Brad Scott, Bill Curry, Hal Mumme, and Mike Dubose. I don't know how we ever would have pulled that off if not for Fulmer.

Vandy would not want Fulmer. Look at there track record at hiring coaches. They do everything on the cheap and one thing we know about Fulmer - he don't come cheap.

Only to those who haven't joined the rest of the world in the 21st century.

Without fulmer our program wouldnt be where it is today. In both good and bad ways.. but the good far out weigh the bad.

Can you say No National Championship?

No Manning?

I could really go on for days man.. so many great players he recruited.. so many good things he accomplished, would our program even be on the map without those players/accomplishments?

Yeah he fell off, so what? Should we hate him for that? Hell no. By the way I'm a 16 year old kid, I dont know much about UT tradition, but what I do know is that some of you people are absolutley blinded by what he did for the program.

That is hilarious! Did you here his opener the day after "The Decision"?

Podcast him daily. That's the only show where I can go from loving it one day to wanting to strangle everyone on it the next. Not enjoying his Heat homerism at the moment.

However, if CPF does end up at Vandy, I will wish him the best and root for him in every game he plays except UT.
CPF has been nothing but classy in his dealings with the University, so I hope he does find a job he likes and is successful.

Are you serious?

I will donate $100 to the Vandy athletic fund if he became head coach.

And then I would laugh.....and laugh....and laugh....and then anxiously await Spurrier's first comment.

I thought it was known he was taking over the New England Pats when Bellicheck was done.
