Fulmer to Louisville?

It certainly wouldnt surprise me that whiny Fulmer would actively lobby for a job that wasnt available yet. UK should be ecstatic if Louisville hired Fulmer.

Fulmer could make a run at the Virginia job. I have a funny feeling it will be open at the end of the year.

I agree that Louisville could be a good fit for Fulmer. He is still a good coach, and could probably do well in that conference. I'd also love watching him play and beat Kentucky.

To say that implies that at some point he has been a good coach, that is just dead wrong. As much as I hate Louisville, I hope he goes there and continues to run that joke of a program into the ground.

I would love to see Fulmer, Cut and Chavis get together and take over Al Groh's spot at UVA. I think they could revive that struggling program. They would do well together against ACC competition.
Yeah, look at how Fulmer dominated Maryland and Clemson in those Peach Bowls.

Why? UK's record against Fulmer is 0-for-forever.

Tennessee >> Louisville...

He could not recruit to U of L nearly as well as he could to UT...not that his recruiting to UT was even that great in his last few years. Fulmer is not a coach who can win without having much better talent than his rivals.

I just find it hard to believe Fulmer is actively lobbying for a specific job. He pays a man very good money to do that for him and vet out potential suitors.

You're getting wrapped on if Phil is doing the sucking up himself or not. Whether Phil is doing it or his agent it is still probably happening.

I understand. It is much easier for me to believe. I think he is chomping at the bit to get back in, and is wondering why he hasn't been pursued yet. I think it is making him wonder if he'll ever get back in.

And rumor among the memphis elite is that he's on the outs with sexton too. he just wants to blame anybody but himself for the loss of his job.
