I was listening to Rivals Radio earlier, and Bill King mentioned that Fulmer was lobbying for the Louisville job desperately. I think that would be a good fit for ol Phil. Kragthorpe wont make it much longer. But if I was Louisville's AD I would pursue Tubberville first IMO.

And with this news it's time for Louisville to start hiring some more police officers.

Tuberville is first choice. But I think Fulmer may end up here. Which would be cool. I know some U of L boosters and they have the checkbooks in hand to make a run at Tuberville.

Pretty slimy to lobby for a filled position, if you ask me.

Tubberville is younger and has more upside. He will not go to UL.

Texas A&M is where he will end up.......or FSU...Jimbo may not be the guy and if Mark Richt says no...maybe Tubbs.

If I were them I would rather have Tuberville over Phil. I'm not sure how much Phil has left in the tank-probably one of the reasons for the slide of this program and poor recruiting.

Even though there's a good chance Kragthorpe gets canned after this year, it's classless on Fulmer's part to lobby for a job that isn't yet vacant, IMO.

Won't they have to pay Jimbo a ton of money if the don't hire him? I don't have much knowledge of the situation, but I thought that was how his whole deal was set up

Well he'll probably have his whole previous staff with him if he goes. Chavis is under some heat and Cut... well they lost to Rickmond. It will be the good ole' boys but this time at UL.

I hope filmer gets a job... anywhere... just so he'll go away..

Go away? Freak will have to open a whole new forum dedicated to tracking Fulmer's success/failure wherever he winds up.

The fascination with looking backward is very strong with some people. I personally hope Kiffin's success here can drown out whatever interest there is in worrying what Phil's up to.

I agree that Louisville could be a good fit for Fulmer. He is still a good coach, and could probably do well in that conference. I'd also love watching him play and beat Kentucky.

I would love to see Fulmer, Cut and Chavis get together and take over Al Groh's spot at UVA. I think they could revive that struggling program. They would do well together against ACC competition.

If this happens I will definatley be pulling for Louisville, unless they play the VOLS. Phil did alot of good for UTK.

Chavis will be available as a DC after this season as well, so maybe the whole staff can reunite just a few hours north. Since Cut cant beat Richmond, lol.

Cut won't get cut, but the good news is Randy Sanders certainly will be available
