Fulmer to be on CBS college sports

Majors doesn't hate UT. He hates Fulmer, and he has good reason to, seeing as how Fulmer backstabbed him to get the head coaching job in the first place.

If Majors hates UT, as you say, why has he been attending some of Kiffin's practices, and why has he been singing the praises of the way Kiffin runs practice?

yes JM hates Fulmer but I'm not sure you have the story straight. Johnny brought much of it on himself

First of all you don't have a clue what happened. Majors own mouth is what got him fired.

Majors is stupid enough to think it negatively affects Fulmer by him being at practices, but Fulmer isn't concerned.

Has Majors been critical of the UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE since he first started attending practices under Kiffin? The answer is yes.
Did Majors go on Finebaum's show "in Alabama" and criticize the UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE? The answer is yes.

It's laughable for WPAINE to talk about XCPF's loyalty to the school and it not being about the money... You must have missed that massive buyout he received.

I never said it wasn't Majors' time to go. But you can't convince me that Fulmer didn't help push him out the door in any way.

Name one coach, or for that matter one PERSON, that would have turned down the buyout money.

Unlike Johnny "I HATE UT" Majors, Fulmer has had class and not been critical of the university or of Kiffin. Phil obviously needed to go, but he can still be a great ambassador for our Univeristy.

This is absolute garbage.

I'm confused with what you are trying to say here.... I'm saying Fulmer was loyal to UT. I think that is largely widely accepted given his tenure here and the fact that at one point he was considered one of the best college coaches (accurate or not is certainly debatable, but that was the assumption) during the 1990's. Yes he got a big buyout when he was fired, but I think he would gladly give that money back to coach another season at UT, which despite what HatVol may lead you all to believe, I am glad that he is not.

No, I'm laughing at the thought of him being loyal to UT and not being concerned with the money.

^ That is what I am saying.

I don't think anyone's breaking news or letting it slip about Fulmer being on TV. His agent has been very clear and front about what his gig is:

Fulmer will be on CBS College Sports and possibly fill in for Archie's role on CBS when Ely is not playing home games.

I've been a bit out of the loop, purposefully to some extent. When Tony mentioned this on his show yesterday, Doug Matthews quickly interjected that it had not yet been formally announced and that he hoped they had not uspet anyone by stating it on air. I just assumed it was newish news, although I remember Fulmer was already an analyst for them on signing day.

How is that "taking the easy way out?" You asked a question and got an answer. Sounds simple enough to me.

Because who in their right mind would/could bash Neyland? And, Kiffin hasn't done anything to get bashed for yet. If Hat had been alive and internet had been available, he'd been bashing Neyland. He'll also be bashing Kiffin at some point down the road.
