Fulmer supports Butch before UGA game

He knows damn well it's not silly. He got fired and I think everybody would agree was a better coach than butch. It's funny people keep posting these comments like fulmer, or Peyton, or curry...see they support the coach. Lol. What would anyone expect any of those guys to say. Of course they're going to say he has their support.
It's crazy how politically correct of a world we live in today. All three of this know butch isn't a good coach and it'll take a miracle for butch to survive even this year. Much less beyond this season. Coaches don't just become creative, intelligent decision makers. They either are that or they aren't. And the silly cliches were only able to hide the truth for so long with butch

What else's is he gonna say? That he should get canned? Lol!!

Phil is a football guy. Don't think for a second he's not cursed CBJ under his breath at some of the in game decisions he's made.

Unfortunately he is probably right unless CBJ loses 6 games or more imho

I've been saying it since all this shoot from the hip reactions started. 8-4 was our projection. The wheels falling off and going 8-4 is not the same thing. 6-6 or 5-7 is wheels falling off.

He hits 8-4 or better he has held us steady during our reload year.

Nope

His loss to Florida and his eventual SEC record is what his season is being based on

His close win to UMASS got the wheels turning

With Fulmer hanging around the program history says the Head Coach should watch his back.

Somebody might like a shot at that interim job.

Or, maybe he's satisfied with 4-4 in the SEC, and Butch really is his guy.

Fulmer hates Alabama

He isn't happy about that losing streak

He says it's silly to be talking about him losing his job.

That must hurt you guys that already have him fired. Of course many of you truly believed you knew more about coaching and running a successful D1 football program than CPF did also, so maybe not.

Bottom line it is ridiculous to be talking about firing a coach who is currently 3-1. No getting around that fact.

Isn't Fulmer on the payroll now?

It's not a shock that he would support a fellow employee in distress.

You are 100% correct. The bottom line UT is 3-1... no way you can fire a coach now.

Unfortunately, that one loss will turn into 4 or 5 more soon enough.

On the flip-side he says he would have killed it with the same people on social media in today's world, with fans and recruits.

It wouldn't surprise me if he and Currie put a list together already. Fulmer knows what the boosters will and won't approve and Currie does the pre rec work

Thats your opinion. Im sure our 4 losses in the pre-season projection was Fl,GA,AL, and LSU. If we can atleast win one of either GA or LSU he's even took a step forward as long as there is no other losses to USC, KY, or Vandy.

And the rest is your opinion....we can do this all day (and probably will).
