Well I will respectfully disagree It is time for coach Fulmer to step down , I have the greatest respect for coach Fulmer, in all my years I never would have thought TN would bring home a national championship and to any and all ((esp FSU fans even if c watts played TN would have still found a way to win!!)) thats all we did all yr long after florida I kept saying you have to believe, ex- see arkansas game thank you clint stoener!!! go vols We will be back!!!!!
Reality check it's 2008.:bad:

from what i have seen foster and hardesty were both way better then creer. and i doubt clawson "threatened" to resign. Clawson gave up a head coaching job to get where he is. He wouldnt just go resign after that.

If Tennessee goes under 500 and does not make a bowl game this year and Fulmer is still our coach, all hell will break loose in Knoxville. There will be a record low of season tickets bought and a record low of off-season hype. IMO, Hamilton does not have a choice.

I am at a loss to see how or why he (or the entire staff)keeps his/their job

Strangely, maybe Chavis stays, cause in the box,I thinks he;s as good as they get..on the sideline..he is just another guy standing around yelling..

Wheather anyone likes it or not, Tennessee COULD have won that game last night..they haad a chance to be up 7-10 at the half and fooled around and got 3 points from 3 drives inside inside the orange zone..

Unacceptable ~~

He was given another year to turn it around. It was called 2006. I think it's clear to everyone that getting Cutcliff to come back allowed us to hang on offensively. Now that he's moved on the wheels have come off.

I think he deserves a chance to turn it around. The agreement should be that he wins an SEC title next year or step down gracefully and kind of let him write his own ending!! Either produce or leave.

BUT....this bothers me and a booster told me this last night and he gives close to $500,000.00 a year.

After the UCLA game Dave Clawson went to Fulmer and wanted to bench Crompton and make Creer the #1 back. Fulmer wouldn't let him, just said no!!

After the Florida game Clawson threatened to resign if he couldn't make the QB change and at least play Creer more....

If all of this true, Fulmer is totally responsible and should take his thumbs off of his asst coaches head and let them dotheir job!!

1 last thing....the officiating sucked last night, the hold on Taylor etc....like it was fixed, terrible thought
Damn dude, you must enjoy being abused. :banghead2:

Reality check? hmmm we are awful this year at offense we have every chance to score on aub and bama and couldnt get it done, maybe you havent been around long enough to watch the really bad years, but I did and I watched Tn beat bama after 11 yrs of total domination,or watching ole miss beat us and worse yet vandy when they were horrible , yet Tn made them look like sec east champs, heres a Reality check Tn hasnt changed its game plan since we won a national championship , we have competed for sec championships but we play conservative not to lose ball and saban, myer, and richt are the new breed and if Tn doesnt change with the times we will be fighting kentucky for the bottom every year and thats unacceptable!!!! :censored:

He has had plenty of chances to turn it around. I don't care how much he has done for Tenn. It's all about what have you done for us lately and what he's done is drive this program into manure. Enough is enough.

But just to play devil's advocate here, would it not be a good time for those who don't have season tickets to try get them now, and maybe have good seats when the program finally gets back where it ought to be?

for me, that 1 year to turn it around was this year and he's blown it. how anyone can defend the back to back blowout losses to alabama and fla, plus this years ga loss is beyond me.

This has to be the dumbest thread ever on this site! I can't stand to watch this crap called Tennessee Football....IT'S A NIGHTMARE! If Fulmer stays then you will be able to lay down across the bleachers to watch a home game next year! Give him an AD type job
next year and everyone will be happy. Keep him and it will be another horrible year!

There is a 0% chance we go from the worst team in the sec to sec champs next year, especially with the way UF, UGA, Bama, and Lsu are loaded with talent. So why bother giving him one more year? Take our lumps now and try to regear for the future.

that was sneaky posing as a Vol fan. No one had any idea. I'm sure you'll be the coolest guy in your 6th grade class tomorrow (and this time it's not because you have your drivers license)
