Before i get blasted, there is no one in the world that has more orange blood. watch the video of fulmer being fired and watch him cry and truly feel abandoned. like we feel right now. fulmer has had his reality check and has his batteries charged. then go and watch the BCS national championship where fulmer holds the trophy up and said "this is for the people of tennessee". now that we had our little afair with the little young tramp its time to go back home to our family.

Couldn't have said that any better myself. Phil needs to be AD and it needs to be announced today!!

There's another vote for the kind of inbreeding that led us to the point that beating Wyoming was a task too difficult.

Yeah, just what we need. He can't even hire an OC, but we should put him in charge of the hiring/firing/managing for an entire multimillion dollar athletic department. Genius.

No Way, Phil had his time, Let move on to greener pastures. This is not time to make things worse by changing AD's. What a disaster that would be. You want to keep any of the current recruiting class then make a AD change, we would lose more than we already have.

first off i wanted kiffin and i knew we needed to make a change. i wasint jumping in the streets when we fired fulmer, i acually cried because i knew it had to be done but unlike you 16 year olds that dont remember what the man has done for this program, i know what loyalty is and i know that fulmer is a great coach.

Phil is NOT the answer! He was let go for a reason. Just because KiffEn turned out to be a D-Bag, doesn't mean we should have kept Phil or take a giant step backwards & re-hire him.

anyone who thinks fulmer should be brought back in any capacity needs to check themselves into a mental facility. fulmer would do nothing but continue to keep the program mediocre to terrible. if he is hired i refuse to attend any games, or buy any apparel while he is working for the university of tn

I agree that a new AD is needed. Mike Hamilton is an idiot.

He let Fulmer stay as Head Coach to long and tried to place blame on other Assistant Coaches....ie Cutcliffe.

Hamilton hired the wrong coach and with that comes penalty.

UTK is not the place to learn how to become an AD

If Fulmer does become the AD and/or HC that would be a total disaster. I would not renew my season tickets.

omg are u an f'n idiot!?!?! seriously. The whole state called for his head to be fired. Finally MH did what we wanted and fired him. Now you guys want MH to be fired and have Fulmer as an AD. WOW!!!!!!!! Dumb A$$!!

AD than school loyalty. Fulmer is an old football coach--period. He made a lot of poor decisions over the last 10 years of his coaching career, so why would we want him making really big decisions about coaching hires at the school? No thanks.

Yea lets get fulmer back so he can bring cutcliffe and all those senior citizens back....Not! We need to move forward, we've been moving backwards since 98.

There's a reason why modern athletic departments are run by business guys, not ex-coaches. They're $80-$100 million businesses these days. It's not a job that you just hand to famous ex-coaches so they can ham it up on the rubber chicken circuit anymore.
