It is what it is, let's just get on with it and quit whining about everything the coach does or doesn't do. Whether we ALL like it or not, it is what it is. Let's just support our team!!

i don't have a problem with that. i haven't been one of the ones that have called for Fulmer's firing. you can check all my posts. but, at the same time, i'm not going to pretend that he is the reincarnation of "honest abe"

I understand, but you asked "what games are we SUPPOSED to win?", and those two games were two of them. Just wanted to make certain that it got said that Johnny didn't lose his job b/c he lost to Bama, he lost his job b/c he lost those two games and subsequently an SEC title shot.

As to Ainge's injury dictating our offense, if it did, that further amplifies my prior argument regarding Crompton. If we had as much confidence in JC as we have been saying, we wouldn't have played the season with half an offense when we could've had the full playbook available.

well, in other years, Johhny won those games, so where does that leave us. still doesn't change Phil's actions during the ouster, which is my point.

i'm not sure why you brought up Ainge and the offense, as i hadn't even been discussing that subject.

He may have, but in THAT year, Phil had us in perfect position, and Johnny screwed it up, end of that story.

I brought up Ainge b/c that's the subject of the thread, unfortunately, we are supposed to try and stay on topic, and if you look up to the nifty little thread title, it says "Fulmer Says Ainge Injury Dictated Style of Offense". It wasn't directed at you, I just felt I'd add my view on the subject of the actual thread.

What do you think the game plan is today? Did they bring this up now to give Wisconsin one more thing to think about? I mean Ainge's injury not old history.

thats just pure speculation to assume that if Johnny wasn't on the sidelines for those games, Phil would've won them. How can you be sure? Phil may have lost more than Johnny that season on his own, who knows for sure?

but, if it makes you happy to smoke that, then hey, knock yourselves out. you fulmerites all have a good day watching your Outback bowl today.

Dude, I'm not a Fulmerite. I'm stating fact. Fulmer had us in a position to win 1 game of the next three to ensure a trip to Atlanta and Johnny lost them. That's fact, not speculation, it happened. If we had gone to the SECCG, Johnny wouldn't have been fired. I'm not arguing with you personally, I'm simply saying that Johnny controlled his own destiny and didn't get it done. Anything else that occurred are just details.

They're definitely making this article seem legit with the deep passes we're throwing. Ainge is looking sharp.

So apparently we are smart enough. haha

We didn't have a purpose for saying this. It might have been true, but it was NOT to fool anyone. I assure you, we are NOT smart enough to pull that off.
