Fred White told a great story (before the event started) about Fulmer visiting his family during his recruitment. Fred's grandpa asked Fulmer if he'd like to see his garden. Without hesitation Phil enthusiastically says yes and proceeds to go check it out with Paw Paw and never once uttered a word about messing up his $600 loafers in the garden muck. Kind of sealed the deal the way that he treated the White family members. I doubt that Kiffin or Dooley were capable of being anywhere close to that humble and respectful.

Some. Terry fair talked about Phil sitting on his mothers coffee table that was old and after CPF left the coffee table was bow legged from then on. Lol

It is amazing the table held up. It ought to be in the Smithsonian.

From what I've read, it was more of a toast than a roast.
There's almost always something funny about a proper roast, but toasts are quite lame by comparison.
