Opened up talking about his coaching record has a heck of a lot more wins than losses. He said we've been coaching a long time and we didn't get stupid overnight. We are a talented team, and don't tell me I can't do something.

Bunch of blah,blah,blah.

Just say you played like horse ____, coached like horse ____ and looked like horse ____.

If I was a recruit coming in I would have to wonder about my talent being wasted like Berry's is right now!

Our team is not prepared to compete in the SEC. It is his fault. Why? Because it is ultimately his responsibility. Now he is too busy fighting for his job to save this season. The ONLY thing he can honorably do is step down. If he refuses, drag him out of his office and dump his a** in the river.

Those who have said that the average Vol fan can't make a difference are wrong. The big boys are listening. They see the empty chairs and they hear the boos. TAKE BACK THIS PROGRAM NOW!

I didn't think anyone was calling him stupid. The vast majority of the posts I've read refer to him as ineffective. As in ineffective in game preparation, game execution, halftime adjustments once it's obvious you didn't prepare or execute for the first half.

I don't know if I have ever heard a man use the phrase, "Seat the football", as many time as he just did. Anytime he couldn't think of anything he'd say, "ummmmm, Seating the football".

He can't think on his feet. Ness, have you ever heard the man give a quick witted, articulate answer that wasn't dripping with canned answers and coach speak?

Me neither.

Should he stand up and yell that he's a man? I don't understand the asinine belief that anything a coach says must be "coach speak" and is somehow always the wrong thing to say.

If he says A, you want B. If he says B, he should have said A. If he says nothing, he's a jerk. If he says A and B, he should be saying nothing.

Come on. The media asks questions, he has to answer them. It's part of the contract, I'm sure. Like I've said before, there's plenty to criticize without taking stuff out of context, making mountains out of molehills, and latching on to every word a coach or player says.

If you're gonna whine and complain, stop listening to press conferences! Any coach (and by any, I mean all) is going to say just about the same thing week to week. How many do you see that come out of a press conference after a loss, and people say "yeah, he's right. I don't disagree with that at all!"?

Grow up.

I will listen to what I please. State my opinions(within the rules of the board) as I please. Whine and complain about what I please. Make mountains out of molehills, lemonade out of lemons or whatever else suits my fancy.

You wanna scold somebody, get a job teaching pre-school. DON'T try to tell me what I can do on a freaking message board. :the_finger:

Then why are you trying to tell him/her what to do or not do on a message board?

Seems kind of ironic, huh? LOL
