Last year, the ad and the letters of Support and the GA Game Win was Fulmer's Last Card to be played. This year he had nothing to lay down in his defense and probably thought that the new staff OC could be an outlet to defray any doubters.

Too many other factors came into play that no longer left him to offer up the OC and new staff as a sacrificial lamb.

Most obvious was the attitude of the players, special teams play, and intensity of play by the team. Face it on offense and defense there are 6 individuals playing their hearts out versus 22.

It is for the most part some players were just going through the motions this year. These were not his teams of the past.

CPF lost touch in a football sense with this team, but that does not mean he lost touch with the team from a personal sense. That is why we are hearing their denials and dissatisfaction about his removal.

I think if you asked the team they will say that they like and respect him as a coach but down deep they knew he could no longer take them to the next level.

I 100% agree with this. He is a good guy and makes you feel like he is your best friend of course it would be hard to have him leave but next year if we start winning games and beating up on the SEC than trust me they will be just as happy as if he were there!
God bless fulmer he did a great job and I wished nothing more than for him to turn it around but it just looks like he has lost his way. His time has come the game is getting to fast for him. But hopefully he will stay with the program in some way.

get out the stretchers, berry is going to take somebody's head off

They (the players) have to ensure that CPF wins out. They do not want to be proven wrong.

At the end of the season we will all wonder where has this intensity been and come to the conclusion that this dismissal was the Right thing to do.

Not sure which is worse, your prediction, our performance, or your name.
