Call Marrone and if he declines offer Borges. Then Cut will take Roper with him to Duke so we then hire Jay Graham. Chavis will stay but by some freak move he leaves there's Ed Orgeron jobless out there. Let Trooper do what he wants, he's such a good recruiter just look at all our commits right now. Wins are all the recruiter we need.

As a HC yes, but he is a top notch d-line coach, and grade A recruiter, would be a plus to any staff.

Being a head coach and a coordinator are two VERY different things. He turned out a fine group at USC.

Well, I agree with that. But in this hire, if people are really serious about the long term health of the program, shouldn't we care whether the guy could be a good HC someday?

Well. I don't think Norm Chow would be a very good head coach. Still, he puts together a good offense and produces a good QB wherever he goes. Just find a guy that can make your offense good now. When your coach leaves, you can think about whether or not he'll be a good head coach. There's no point in trying to forecast something that far away.

You're frickin' serenading Cutcliffe for being a part of the staff that won exactly jack over the past 2 years.

I hope he plans on living a long time. It's going to be tough to win a national championship with an annual 21+ point beatdown from Florida. As for next year, if we don't get considerably better at DL and CB, it may very well be Fulmer's last ride.

We lost by 1 point to the Gators last year at Neyland. They went on to win the NC.

The point I made was a response to a comment about the margin of our losses against Florida. I said nothing about our entire season.

but he could have interchanged UF for any one of a number of teams or just said "a couple beatdowns" and made the same point.
