Fulmer magic...

I said WITHOUT Fulmer. You're either a liar or illiterate or both. You are clearly more of a Fulmer fan than a Vol at any rate. Please start your own Fulmer Felching forum and spare us your deceit.

I guess that Fulmer wouldn't have won any games without hisself. Again you pick 2 strange years out of all of his years to blame him for our current woes. I guess it doesn't have anything to do with the people that were at UT during this time that controlled the purse strings and thought they had the midas touch to hire all these great coaches since????

Revisionist history. Fulmer made his own bed. Sucked the life out of football program.

So anyone that tells you the truth is a revisioner??? I just tell what I kow to be truth and that does not fit your ideas/dreams? That is what happened and not something that I just made up. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Facts are facts. To dispute facts is to lie. Fulmer sucked just as bad as Dooley or Jones toward the end of his career WITHOUT Cutcliffe to hold his hand. He was 10 and 13 in his final 23 games WITHOUT Cutcliffe.

I haven't disputed facts, only given you more facts that you fail to recognize. There are more factors involved and I don't like anyone that places the blame on one person unjustly. Knowing Coach Fulmer and knowing what was going on behind the scenes lead me to believe that if Fulmer was allowed to run his staff the way he would have liked the ship would have been righted and we would not be at this low level at this time!!!!!!!!

Fulmer was, at best, the fourth best coach in the SEC East when he was fired and his record reflected that. You might even say the fifth best since MacIntyre at Vandy had beat him 2 of his last 4 years.

.

A) MacIntyre left Vanderbilt in 1985, 7 years before Fulmer was Tennessee HC.
B) Fulmer lost to Vanderbilt once. In 2005.

If Fulmer is magic then Georgia will beat Bama in the title game.

If this play didn't happen, CPF may still be the HC.

If Clint Stoener doesn't fumble, he's fired after the 2002 season. If Fla St doesn't have to play their 3rd string QB in the national championship game, he's fired after the 2002 season

Wrong on both accounts. We had an AD at that time that understood football. You don't get fired with one 8-5 season with what Fulmer had done even if he didn't win the NC. You just really don't understand how it works, do you?

You are the liar and you're an idiot to boot. You come on this site spouting drivel with nothing to back it up. You are the one that is not a true Viol fan just a dumb a$$ troll. Go back to your Bama board.
I showed you Fulmer's record without Cutcliffe during Fulmer's last 4 years at Tennessee, 10-13. I showed you Fulmer's record in his last 12 games versus Florida and Georgia, 3-9. Those are indisputable facts.

Toward the end of his career WITHOUT CUTCLIFFE to hold his hand, Fulmer averaged winning 5 games per season. He was no better than Dooley or Jones. The main culprit behind Tennesssee's decline was Fulmer himself.

I understand at least as well as you. Probably forgot more about it that you will ever know, Snapper. There's nothing "wrong" about what I said. That 8-5 season was a season where UT lost to Florida at home, 31-13, Alabama at home, 34-13 and Miami at home, 41-3.

You don't understand how it works. You're severely biased towards Fulmer and don't recognize cold, hard facts

It has been said that Hamilton did limit on what he could spend on assistants. What you don't understand is that Hamilton wanted Fulmer out from the first day he became AD. He did what he could to hinder Fulmer so he could get his man in as head coach. He is the reason for the downfall!!!!! You may want to find out information from behind the scene before you just spout nonsense!!!!!!!

How many games did Hamilton coach in 2005 and 2008? How many games did Hamilton choke away against FL over the years?

Hamilton was a major problem but continuing to buy into this sham that Fulmer didn't have anything to do with it is ridiculous.

You may want to get it through your thick skull that no one else in college football worships Fulmer like you and your knuckledragging ilk.

Fulmer has been so well respected that no one else gave him so much as an interview from a Power 5 school in the last decade.

Explain that one away. Was Hamilton overseeing all these other schools during their coaching searches as well?

Hamilton was hand picked by Fulmer so your conspiracy theory is a bit odd. Fulmer did himself in. Even when he got a quality coach (like Clawson) he wouldn't back him and allow him to run his system. His assistants were not the issue
