Fulmer Losing on Purpose.

I know its a bit out there, but Fulmer can still do alot of damage to UT. This is a man that loves UT and gave his life to the university. I just cannot believe Wyoming beat UT. Vandy will get 2 a bowl 4 the first time in 20 something years by beating us and Uk will end the longest losing streak in football by winning in kville. I just think Fulmer could really get even with everyone, we should have made him leave, and gave Chavis the interim coaching position.
Stupid thread for the day.

If he tried to lose on purpose he'd probably win.
Exactly. His idea of playing to lose would be to start BJ Coleman the rest of the year, letting GJ or Berry play QB some and actually throw the football, and having our corners play tighter on the receivers and take a chance at getting beat deep by McKenzi (sp) Adams and Randall Cobb.

The most absurd aspect of this thread is the suggestion that somehow Fulmer has reason to be bitter or to "get even" like some type of woman scorned. He will be paid more money over the next four years to not work than many well educated, hard working people earn in a lifetime. He may be mad at Hamilton for not believing he could turn it around but losing to Wyoming did not help that argument.

Yes, Fulmer has decided to hurt the program and lose the remaining 3 games. Isn't it time for you to listen to Art Bell and wear your tinfoil hat?

Scary thing is, I knew exactly what you were talking about.

Maybe he should have just walked and let an assistant coach out the final three games. The money starts 30 days after he is let go. Bowden and some of the other "let go" people are no longer there....Fulmer was not so much hurt as he was angry last week. He has a history of wanting to hurt people when he does not get his way...like wanting to stay to turn it around...not getting named head coach when the coach was very ill....letting others take the rap for his incompetence and on and on....Maybe he will step aside and enjoy his last game from the seats....He may get a big to do but his record for the past four or five years is not too good in the SEC and that is the real world of college football.

Like he said in his press conference he loves tennessee too much,he wouldnt do that. His players are mostly ready to get him fired for lack of preparation and discipline.

I'm befuddled why people are having such a problem grasping the simple truth of this situation. This team stinks. Like a dead skunk dipped in a mixture of sulfur and pig vomit.

Gee, I am not sure they are that good, unless the skunk has been dead long enough to be maggot infested.

My nomination for graphic descriptive post of the year.

Fulmer isn't losing on purpose. The TEAM might be. But it's not really on purpose, they just can't play football.

This is getting old. The man is leaving. Could you try looking ahead and quit beating him up over and over again? He is not trying to lose.
