I was listening to the sports monster this morning and they were talking about Mike Leach. They said if he gets fired, they think Texas Tech will go after Fulmer. They were saying that he is really the only coach available right now. I guess they forgot about Tuberville. If Fulmer does end up there, he is going to get a big surprise when he don't have the recruiting budget he had at UT. The facilities either. He better figure out a way to create a high powered offense too, because the Big 12 scores points. I think this could be a bad move for him. However, he might do fine at a place like that. One thing about it, I bet his players would like playing for laid back Phil. Win or lose....

I don't see Phil going to the Big 12...his style just wouldn't fly in that conference. I see him in the Big 10 or ACC.

You could be right, however beggars can't be choosers. I don't really see Fulmer getting to many offers.

Fulmer in the Big 12 without John Chavis is sort of a scary proposition.

When He First Started As Head Coach At UT He Did A Great Job You Can't Say Otherwise. But He Got To Comfortable As Many People Do At A Job. He Very Well Might Go To TTU And Be A Winning Coach. He is Mad And Would Work Like Hick:thumbsup:To Show Tennessee Fans They Were Wrong. That Said I Was One Of Many Saying To Replace Him With Someone With Fire And I Think Kiffin Will Do A Great Job!

I really think this list of schools are fair possiblities for Fulmer to land.

........

I just sat here for about 5 minutes really brainstorming to find some good fits and I can't.

All the schools that are possibilities seem to have a pretty solid coach that is in his first couple years and the rest I can't see Fulmer taking.

I agree. I thought Clemson was his best shot. I don't see him going to a Nevada, Cincinnati, etc. He wants another championship or to stay retired. Just my opinion.

Although no secretaries were fired, two secretaries have left the football office, according to Hamilton. He said one secretary retired, and another was reassigned.

Mary Jo Fox, who was the administrative services assistant to Fulmer, has been reassigned. Hamilton said she will serve as Fulmer's secretary in his office in Stokely Athletic Center.

If fulmer was given $6 mil of UT cash as a "buyout", why he is getting a free office and secretary at taxpayer expense? Is he also getting a big salary for sitting around and doing nothing?
