Fulmer just said he has 7-10 years of coaching left

Maybe if Roger Ebert retires Fulmer could get that slot... His years of experience watching film could finally pay off!

Yeah, maybe as Cutcliffe's assistant if he's still at Duke. . .BC and Clemson both had openings this year, why didn't they go after him?

He promised his wife he would take off 6 months minimum to evaluate his life, and spend time with his family.

For all we know, they did go after him, and he turned them down.

Anyone who says CPF won't coach again, and not at a BCS school is naive.

I'd vote for Texas Tech. The AD there has bungled the Mike Leach affair, so there's going to be an opening when Mike Leach leaves. Besides, Lubbock has both a Krispy Kreme and good fishin'.

LOL, so he is taking 6 months to evaluate his life, which makes sense cause at his age, that's a lot of film to evaluate. . .

I have no doubt that somebody will give him a shot to coach again. Some smaller program or low level BCS school would surely roll the dice with him.

I'm just going to tell myself this board is filled with kids on the pc in their 8th grade homeroom. Because I can't believe grown men would act so idiotically.

CPF is gone, why are all the jokes needed? Its just childish, and in poor taste.

He'll get another opportunity to coach somewhere if he wants it. The question is whether he can realistically adjust his expectations about what kind of job he's going to get. He's going to have to be willing to settle for a "lesser" job if he wants to coach again.

I mean, he openly campaigned for the Clemson job and didn't even get a sniff from them. If that's the kind of job he's expecting to land, he's going to be disappointed.
