I think in the end they both understand that high program expectations means that your on a fairly short leash and more than one bad year in a decade won't cut it. Not beating your biggest rivals won't cut it either. Butch seems to get the message as well.

Fulmer said it as a joke.....Majors would've said it through clenched teeth and meant it imo.

Always said (usually when discussing Phil vs. Stevieboy), I'd rather lose with class than win with trash.

Phil wouldn't take a shot like that. If I heard the tape correctly (and might not have), his comment could even be taken as a gentle gibe at himself.
