I would rather there be no coach than going backwards.. Do you date an ex because the last girl you picked ended up being crazy? If so, how often does it work out?

Backwards? You gotta go forward to be able to go backwards. Fulmer was fired with nobody better to replace him & that's why we are where we are.

I understand your sentiment, but we have done nothing but go backwards since his firing.

Fulmer would have the program in better shape than Dooley, but it wouldn't be a top 25 program.

What is better? A solid program that wins 7-8 games a year but not nationally relevant or taking a chance on the next guy who could give us 10+ wins a year or be .500?

The second bolded option.

Fulmer put us on this path by becoming lazy and complacent.

No way he would touch it....the program is in the crapper.

His alma mater and the program that for the last two decades we have known with him in charge. Perfect parallel to the prodigal son in the bible. I don't think Fulmer is daddy of this program but the program wanted to get flashy with Kiffin but it ran out and our program was in the pen with the hogs. I think it's time to come home to what we know. All the players consider Phil a father figure maybe it's time for us fans to do the same.

The fact that Fulmer CANNOT get a job ANYWHERE and keeps stoking this fire with his former players is why I believe he does not deserve his buyout and has betrayed the school he claims to love with his actions post teary presser.

Fulmer takes a lot of blame for things that weren't his fault. He was a great recruiter and ALL-VOL. Sure he had some bad seasons, but at least we bounced back after a bad season.

None of the players on our roster consider Fulmer a father figure.

As of now, no they domt cause none are his recruits. Ask Austin Johnson, Poole, and the three or four others that signed on with him. No current players say that cause no current players except three or four stayed here through all the mess.
