HC- Fulmer (he knows how to win in the sec and loves this school)
DC- Chavis ( All Vol - one of the best DCs in the country)
OC- Chaney ( Fulmer lets him keep his offense just run a little more and play a little more field position football
Bring in T Martin
Keep Jay Graham
Keep Sam Pittman
Let Chavis bring in new D assistants anywhere he wants
They would get it done.

There is too much BAMA blood round here

thats an all star and vfl staff.
i think we would win a sec championship in the next 3 years with that staff

of all available coaches who has the most national championships, most sec wins, sec championships, and bleeds the most orange.

I like them , but I think it would divide the fan base again. Not sure about this one. Maybe, some new blood would bring better mojo? I don't know anymore. I like Fulmer. Kind of wishing we had just fired Clawson and kept Fulmer , but who knows what would have happened

We always had good to great D, and fulmer always did good when he had a great OC

I hear you, but could you think of a better staff that really might come here that would not be a big risk

Listen, CPF is part of the reason UT is where it is today. He jumped the shark years ago. He was more interested in secret meetings at Shoney's regarding Bama's cheating than he was in keeping his own house in order. That doesn't change what he accomplished at UT. But the SEC is light years more competetive than when he was coaching. As the SEC elevated he regressed. Remember he had two losing seasons in his last four years. He was given a chance to right the ship and made a TERRIBLE hire in Clawson.

What makes you think he has the edge to get back in the fray after 5 years sitting on the side lines?

UT would be better to bring in Chavis as head coach. At least that man understood and implemented discipline.

My only problem with this staff is what originally, in my eyes, did in Fulmer and Chavis - lack of recruiting / recruit contact by the Head Coach and Coordinators.

Yes, I agree Tee Martin and Jay Graham would recruit the heck out of the world, but with out that contact by "the man", do you really land the recruits?

it's not, and never was, Fulmer or Gruden. Have to wonder if these people even watched UT in the 2000's

Offensive Co ordinator = Clawson or Sanders

Defensive Co ordinator = Sunseri

Yep. I was at all three SEC Championship Games, the Vols were in between 2001 and 2007.

Fulmer will not be re-hired but folks who continually bash Fulmer and what he accomplished at UT are not credible.

what if fulmer had hired chaney instead of clawson?
