Crompton not playing in 2006/07 was 100% Cutcliffe. Cutcliffe didn’t like JC and would have played BJ Coleman over JC if he’d stayed.

I blame some of JCs terrible 2008 season on Cutcliffe. Some on JC and some on Clawson, who has beat more ranked teams than JP has this year.

1. Fulmer was hamstringed when cut left, he was left to the bargain bin by Hamilton.
2. Fulmer shouldn't tell Pruitt who to hire, we agree there.
3. What Fulmer can tell Pruitt is that loyalty to friends in business will get you fired.

Asking Fulmer for advice is different and ok. Fulmer taking charge or giving unwanted advice is not.

Fulmer isn't making any moves anytime soon. He's attached to this hire and he'll give his guy all the time he can afford to give him...I think at the current time that equals about 2 more years minimum unless a total collapse comes, then who knows.

Big difference between the two: Majors had proven he was a good HC by winning a Natty. Pruitt has nothing in his past that would indicate if he will be a good HC.

Majors came with head coaching credentials....with a national championship....not to mention this was his Alma mater.

Over his first 30 games (at Tennessee) Majors had just 1 loss of 21 or more points.....not 12.

My point was Phil didn't need the AD job. I dont think he was low on funds at the time.
