Fulmer Backers

I would not think of Arky state as soft. They gave Texas all they could handle. USC and Bama will kill us. MSU is on the road and pulled off a win at home against Auburn so that is a possible loss. We are not playing well enough to beat anyone at this point. Dont be surprised to see us trailing next week in the first half.

I think we should celebrate the fact that we don't play LSU. I seriously think they would beat us by 70, no joke.

I am a fulmerite and not a negavol. However even as a fulmerite, I think it is time for CPF to step down and ride out into the sunset. Yesterday was a outright embarrasment against a team that we should have beaten. It is time for some new blood that will utilize the young talent that we have. I look at Florida as Percy Harvin was a freshman last year and they used him and got him prepared. We have so much talent that we don't use, so it's time for a new coach to come on in and right the ship.

I don't think there are many true Fulmerites left... and those remaining will be in hiding for a while.

I wonder, as a percentage, how many VOL fans think Fulmer should be fired, maybe 75%? Looks to be closer to 100% on this board, but I know we generally have more passion that the casual VOL fan.

well there are a few thousand members on this board and I'd say a few thousand is a good sampling of the fans base

I'd say at minimum 2/3 of the fans want him gone

But fulmer is the most winning active coach....:censored:. I was on the fence about him until yesterday and was even leaning toward getting rid of him, but now it has to happen. I give up...:mf_surrender:

Welcome to reality, Mr. Rockytop. I think you'll find it is a nice place to spend your time.

Hat, what do you think is the best way to expedite a change in regime?

I've sent the email to Hamilton, although at the end of the day, the only real benefit is probably to make me feel better. The boycotting of merchandise and game attendence is tempting, but I want to support the program even though a change in coaching staff is necessary.

I don't really think the fans have to take any extraordinary action. Fulmer is doing a good job of ending his career through his own ineptitude. Also, Prince Phillip of Peach Bowls has seen the new landscape of fan discontent. Ask Houston Nutt what a few FOIA requests and the fertile imagination of a scandal loving public can do to one's life. I can't imagine Fulmer hanging on and dealing with an angry fan base.
