I'm a big fan of him as AD. It rids us of Hamilton and he knows the program. I just hope he has the draw for recruiting if he returns as HC.

AD?? Funny! I'm sure a new head coach wants fulmer hanging around, telling him what to do all day!! Phil needs to stay out of it and spend all those millions he sucked out of the program last year as his buyout.

God no. While I appreciate what he did, the game had passed him by. If we bring him back, we will never recover from this tailspin. I hope the powers that be are smarter than that.

This is a disaster for the program if true. Worse than having an interim coach for a year and starting over next year.

If we bring him back, Fulmer won't get out of the way until he has Neyland's record. If Kiffin set us back three more years, bringing Fulmer back would make it eight or nine.

Just got the text as well. Crazy to hire him back as HC. There will be more rioting from the students!!

Back to the Future...

Tennessee should wait a while longer and see who's interested..

it's 3 weeks to signing day. if you want to salvage some of this class, you have to act fast. anytime else there would be some time, but this is a unique situation.

I love big Phil, but dear Lord, if we bring him back we're so screwed. This would just cap this massive disaster and probably put a nail in Hamilton's coffin.

Anybody who thinks Fulmer can help UT now is CRAZY! He left the program in a shambles--forget? He's a burned-out, old man. Of course Fulmer is interested--what the hell else is he going to do. The idea is to move FORWARD, not backward because you've been spooked by Kiffin's departure. Fulmer's last 8 years were a disaster--a little worse every year. He is done--was done 10 years ago. And he'd make a LOUSY AD too.
