You’re definitely not firing a coach midweek who is 3-1. Some people are living in fantasy land. But like you, after watching the first four games and looking at our schedule, it’s hard to predict too many more wins.

Would have agreed until LSU dropped the hammer on a 2-2 Les Miles last year. Never can tell when big wigs with money are involved.

We're 3-1, Butch isn't going anywhere mid-year. You people are so dumb. That said, I don't see how we win 6 games. I think he is done after this year.

Thank you fade. Atleast wait untill the season plays out.

All the emails and Tweets being sent are hurting the fire Butch crowd rather than helping them because I'm sure they look like they were written by a 5 year old.

For those too young to remember, look into Fulmer's last contract and how he got it. The guy is a parasite and has no business around the Athletic Department. Keep him far far away.

:good!:

I also dont like how he wormed his way into mooching more money from the university. he should have been a figure head working for donations and nothing more!

If Fulmer were to come back as interim, He will not just want to turn over the keys to a new hire and leave voluntarily.

We'll be reliving 1992 all over again.

As much as I respect Phil, I don't agree with this proposal.

I think the AD should already be quietly approaching possible candidates, figuring out what the best options are, getting everything lined up.

Then, at the end of the season, he announces the coaching change all at once. Including naming the new head coach. That way the entire family, including '18 recruits, know what the future looks like at the same time as they find out that a change is being made.

Minimize the uncertainty and concern.

And that approach does NOT include naming an interim. Not even Phil.

Would you rather have a coach that negotiated a smart contract? Or would you rather have a Coke too dumb to sign up good contract? Don't blame Fulmer for taking our stupid ad in the administration to the Woodshed on that one.

Not that I'm advocating this hair brained idea of bringing in former while we're still three and one and the season.
