Fulmer arrested in Alabama???

I've heard stories about it, but know nothing about it. So, I was wondering if you older Vols know anything about this thing. From what I hear, the State of Alabama passed some sort of law a few years ago and got Fulmer in jail overnight.

Hope this isn't a peice of crap. But thought i'd like to talk about something interesting...lol

Are you talking about when they issued him a subpeona at SEC media days a few years ago?

He was given a subpoena in the summer of 2008 when he showed up in Alabama for the SEC Media Days I believe. That is probably what you are referring to

He was "served" while attending an SEC coaches meeting a few years ago; but no arrest.

When that Alabama Booster tried to pay off the coach in Memphis to persuade his students to come to 'Bama, Fulmer was a witness in that investigation. The Booster then sued the NCAA for defamation and his lawyers wanted to question Fulmer under oath.

Edit: It wasn't that booster; it was a different booster that tried to pay off another player. Got 'em confused, so many corrupt 'Bama boosters...

There Is A Law In Bama

You Can Only Eat Twelve Dozen Doughnuts In A 24 Hour Period

If You Are Caught Breaking This Law

No, no, no that was just a mixup of sorts. Chinese buffet in Montgomery HUGE sign that said "No take home buffet foods"

The police were called etc, but nothing came out of it

Hey now smack talk against Tech and now Carson-Newman? When will it ever end? Carson-Newman is actually ranked 110 in the Forbes list of best colleges in America haha. Anyhow I'm a Carson-Newman student so I figured I'd just interject for a bit. Anyhow look forward to seeing you guys in a few weeks.
