Fulmer and Davenport at the presser

Well what I liked is Fulmer made it clear FOOTBALL COMES 1ST & will do whatever it takes to get it rolling.
Don't get me wrong the other sports needs attention but this is a Football town/Leage
Football should come first

Like Davenport would know a good one, sheesh:banghead2:

If Fulmer had hired Pee Wee Herman, and looked at John Adams and said, "I know you are, but what am I?", she might have said the same thing.

What does disparaging our new coach by inferring he’s “little” or too young have to do with being a ladies man? You’re drunk. Go to sleep. Nothing positive in that reference.

The post you responded to was only alluding to the rumors that Jeremy is known to be quite the cocksman, which is something most men strive to be.

Look at Davenport just before Pruitt starts taking questions. She taps Fulmer on the arm and say "You hired a good one." Unless someone can read lips better than I.

Also, I thought Fulmer took a jab at some of his successors when he was talking about the grittiness of a defensive coach and he said "You can't be cute and win this league"

I thought she said "Should have been Gruden."

Jk 😁

Was legitimately curious as to why SO many people wanted to demonize Davenport over the negative events that transpired over the last month. To me, it seems like she saved the day.

Pissed off and wanted someone to blame without knowing all the facts (No fault of their own because of the secrecy, non transparency of a coaching search and how the University/booster thing works.) Basically human nature in a way -turns into a Lynch mob mentality.

It was a reference to his dick. I'm at work and far from drunk. Like how Ron Jeremy referred to his manhood as Little Ron. It was a joke. Relax.
Sorry, I'm not a porn aficionado and the last thing I'm thinking about on VN or anywhere else is a man's unit...so I missed the reference. My apologies. :hi:

OP yes I agree.

So Davenport in her unnecessary and rambling opening remarks said that when she learned Pruitt had been an elementary school teacher, she knew he was the right person for the job.She used the word "clinched" to that effect.

That's the kind of sloppy thinking that got us into this situation in the first place by hiring Currie over Fulmwr.

Good grief.

I thought the same....

Davenport is still On the Job training....Less than a year to fix it...AD is an important hire...It's job security...She caved to the current regime that $$$ was more important than winning here....

An environment created 10+ years ago....

Underestimated the Fan Base and politicians ability to put a stop to this and rid the Administration of HoH...

Still a long journey...

"Out of the abundance of the heart the [keyboard types]."

It seems VN, as is most of current culture, is overrun with men that meditate on other men's crotches these days.

You're not wrong to have your mind on other things.

At least Bev, nor Phil, took the opportunity to go spelunking into their nostril.

Booger Cheeks was mighty disappointed.

They both work for Haslam. And Haslam got the last laugh. He really showed us. He sold us out to Alabama for being insubordinate about the Schiano hire.

Pretty sure Jimmy wanted Mel Tucker over Pruitt and Fulmer said no thanks I'm going with Pruitt.
