Fulmer admits he's pulling for Alabama on Monday

You’re putting too much stock in what you think that means for Tennessee. It literally means nothing.

Actually it shows that our new head coach can actually game plan for possibly our biggest competition in the division. Even if it is with bama's talent it shows he has the football knowledge to stop a team we play every year.

I totally agree, Bizzaro. Never would have seen this coming back in the day! Bet cha some Bammers are actually hating it tho, long memories. It really does have a sardonic flair.

Eh, they have a few National Championships under their belt to forget any beatings taken at the hands of CPF. I wish this was not true.

I know it makes sense because he hired Pruitt, but it's still a little weird to me to read Fulmer actually admit he's pulling for Bama. I feel like I'm in the bizarro world.

Then again, it's strange for me to admit I'm pulling for Bama, which I am. Not so much because of Pruitt, but because the last thing I want to see is Georgia winning a championship.

I figure one more at Alabama doesn't mean much anyway. They already have more than I can count.
Yeah sadly I feel the same way as you...One more won't make any difference...Plus I love seeing UGA fail.

If HCJPruitt can totally shut down the O of UGA and make them look as impotent and pathetic as he did Clemson then that WILL make the new Tennessee HC look that much better to top recruits.

With a NC ring from Fla State and a couple or more from the roll tUrd gang then that WILL also make our new HC at Tennessee look even better to top recruits.

I can NOT really root for either team because I hate them both and the ONLY thing I care about in this NC game is how it can somehow help my Tennessee footVol Team.

Anyone that says a Pruitt Win won't help Tennessee recruiting is either DUMB or is clueless about ring and title bling and how HS juniors and seniors think.

Our Vols simply MUST get back to the top in the recruiting wars or we'll never get back on top with WINS on the field.

FREAK is 100% correct on this.a Pruitt Win is the ONLY thing good that can come out of this NC game.

A Win by UGA will really hurt our Vols bad for several years to come.

Go Pruitt.

VFL...GBO!!!

I feel exactly the same way. Although I detest GA more than AL and even FL.

I want Pruitt to shut UGA da *** down. If he shows that he can beat UGA once, he will be able to beat them yearly from here on out. It makes sense. I would rather for UGA to go back to the shadows of existence.

That's what I said about Clemson.. good bye and good riddence

Pruitt coaches for Bama, when he says he's pulling for Pruitt to win, he's pulling for Bama.

Like I said originally, I understand the reasoning. The whole scenario still just feels weird to me.

I think he can pull for Pruitt to do well but not be pulling for Alabama. Example: I'd like to see Pruitt's defense play lights out in the loss to Georgia. Pulling for Pruitt doesn't mean pulling for bama, IMO.

When Coach Pruitt walks into a recruits home and flashes 2 NC rings I promise it will make an impression. It doesn't matter which school the rings are from, just the fact that the coach was a major contributor will make a difference.

I think Bama winning another one doesn’t hurt as much as Georgia winning one with a second year head coach. Bama is Bama, but we don’t need another heavyweight fighter every year. It puts us further behind the 8 ball if they do win, and I think UGA will win. Kirby’s doing a helluva job.

It boils down to who you prefer to be wearing a national championship ring into contested recruits homes during the upcoming recruiting period. Jeremy Pruitt or Kirby Smart.

I have been hearing about UGA since Monday...damn UGA homers.

I've been trolling my friends on FB all week about the big Consolation game coming up. Congrats UCF for becoming Undefeated Perfect National Champions. They are chewing nails listening to people talk about being CO-champions. :eek:lol:

I ain't pulling for Bama. But, this reminds me of every time the politicians and elites start clamouring for a State income tax in TN. They of course scroll all the benefits. But I like my chances of stopping 1 type of tax increase instead of having 2 too deal with. Bama winning another one doesn't make much difference, but when we have to recruit again two rivals with rings. Ugggh.

It’s supposed to ice here in Georgia Monday, maybe both teams will freeze, and they’ll declare it a no contest. Or, trump will be there, maybe he can build a wall and prevent both teams from scoring, and it be declared a no contest!

Hate to be so negative, but if Georgia wins this NC game, this will be Tennessee's nail in the SEC East (and SEC in general) coffin for the next several years. This is why everyone with half a brain cell will be pulling for Bana to win.

He must have reported Bama again... Trying to throw them off.

If you were a Vol in Georgia, like I am, It's a no-brainer........

ROLL TIDE !!!!!!!!

Their fans have taken the time out to tell Tennessee fans "You ain't gettin' no Kirby Smart." The sign of a truly a hole fanbase: It's not how great we are. It's how much we hate you.

That's the difference between the two. For Bama it IS all about how great they are. Why would we waste our big moment on anything about a rival?

No problem with his mental state of rooting for Alabama. No need to hear about it in a self-serving tweet. In no way should it change people's opinions about whether or not Fulmer is actually doing any work as AD.

Man how far we've fallen.

Thanks for the nice shot of depression to go with my morning coffee.
