ESPN article says Fulmer was at Lady Vols BBall game tonight. Anyone see video of him, was he wearing Orange? Just curious? I am hoping he will get over the bitterness.

I also thought it was interesting that SEC comish was there as well - wonder if he was in Knoxville today when he issued is "reprimand" on Kiffin?

See quote and link below.

"Summitt had former Tennessee football coach Phillip Fulmer cheering her from a luxury suite. . . "

Didn't fulmer get hired by the UT president for some glorified gofer type job for a few hundred thousand per year???

It was 12k per month...and he is no longer doing it

Actually he never accepted it, and it was to continue his employee benefit program through the state if i recall.

Also to talk about topic from op, he is an alumnus of UT, he was our coach, he gave us a NC, multiple division titles, and is good friends with CPS. Why wouldn't he be there to celebrate the most heralded coach in women's basketball?

Slive did some post-game presentation thing - I was a little worried he would get booed and it would sound bad for national audience that might not be as plugged in to what went on today, but only polite applause.

I actually like that he was there. I for one am a full Kiffin supporter, but I would love to have Fulmer back to all the UT games as a fan / alumni wearing orange. I just thought him comming to campus for the game was a positive sign.

I hope he doesn't pull a CJM and disapear for ten years. :peace2:

I agree 100% on all points. Expect to catch some grief though.

Had it been a men's game the clean up crew would have had to pick up countless items that would have been thrown in his direction...
