Fulfilled a personal lifelong dream

All that matters is that we're happy with it. . Sorry u 2 douche bags try and make it "gay" when it's only our way of expressing something that we both lov. . Maybe if I had nothing to do other than make fun of people like u guys obviously don't then I could sit around and make fun and talk about 2 people that care for each other. . I wont stoop to ur level and call u immature names

Hey Nancy, calm down. I'm sure the Mrs. will hold ur hand and stroke ur emotions so you feel like going to the craft expo later with her.

It's a dayum message board. Get over it.

(Obligatory V,B).

Exactly. Someone get him some tissue and a tampon too.

Maybe you meant pacifier instead of tampon? Cause y'all are acting like a bunch of two year olds today. Is it the heat or what? It's game week for cryin' out loud! But you wouldn't know it by this particular football board.

Two weeks ago I got married and in the process was able to fulfill a lifelong dream (aside from marrying my wife, lol).
At the reception my wife and I surprised everyone by being introduced to "Rocky Top" blaring on the sound system.
Keep in mind I live in GA and work with quite a few uga and Fla fans so it made it even sweeter.
I'll never get to run through the T, so this was it for me.
Also, my groom's cake was a Big Ole Orange T.
Probably interesting to nobody but myself but just wanted to share with people who understood the importance, haha!

Go Vols!

My Wife and I played Rocky Top at our wedding, and I had a Power T cake. She gave me Power T cufflinks as a wedding gift the day before so I could wear them on my Tux. It was wonderful. Congrats to ya man!:salute:

Maybe if this subject was in another forum other than Tennessee football there wouldn't be so much carrying on.

You start binging up cakes and flowers on a FOOTBALL board, you should probably expect a little ribbin.

Really. After being properly flamed, at minimum your man card should receive several demerits and a one week ban from any football board.

You're getting married on game day? Your friends must hate you.

I am in the same boat. My wife, a Kentucky fan, picked October 22nd for our wedding six years ago (2005). It was the day of the Bama game and I was forced to watch from the reception, Tennessee fumble the ball into the end zone and lose. The only solace I took from that night was knowing I was flying to Jamaica the next day. If you have to lose a game that way, to Bama of all teams, that's a nice way to recover.

Never have forgiven my wife for her piss-poor planning. I got the last laugh though because our anniversary plans always have to include watching Tennessee-Bama. I WILL NOT miss another one and she has come to grips with that.

Congrat's adam.

Word of advice...dont ever forget that date. To help I've not only got it in my log-on name I also got it, along with her birthday, engraved on my ring.

Look at it this way. When she does the post-nuptial shutoff, you will still have football. Cherish it. Football will not hold out on you.

My wife had our firstborn on the third Saturday in October, '75. He was crowning on September 28th but I made her grit it out. She is now a VFL.
