it looks like it was cut from the motorstorm cloth and then injected with steriods.

Thought about trying this one out tonight. But, after checking out a review, I decided to skip it for now. Granted, it's only one review, but he breaks it down pretty good. He seems to have problems finding anything fun in the free-roaming mode. Also a lot of reseting to win races working through the progression. And probably most important, the tracks themselves just aren't very good. Not much in the way of alternative routes or the option of using different cars for different lines and paths.

I'll keep an eye out for other opinions as more play it.

I think bearcats brain damage has infected the board. Too many games are getting awesome reviews from you guys and turn out sucking.

would you rather play this for 6 hours or play the show online for the same amount of time?

that's a tough one, it's pretty bad either way but at least with the show i know deep down it's a good game, i'll go with the show. in fact i might would rather shove toothpicks under my fingernails than play fuel ever again.

I'm still waiting for another game like 4x4 Evo, and I wishing that this was it. Oh well back to waiting again......

motorstorm pacific rift is your friend. no free roaming, but a very solid off road racing game.
