that tennessee took their foot off the gas in the first half just like i told my uncle that we would. then fuad said we have bad coaching to start the show that him and jimmy hyams do after the game. run run run punt with the game on the line. we have done this what 5 times this season with the game on the line at least and only won two of them uga and uscjr.

It is mind boggling why we continued to run straight into usce 8 in the box instead of burning them...when we passed over the middle, we moved the ball. Just glad for the win.

Butch won't agree... says team is young, and mounting injuries... need to be sure no more get hurt and everyone is around to get a participation trophy at seasons end.

There is always a chance when we give the ball to Hurd. We threw downfield and took some chances. The AK fumble made it closer than it should have been. They did a good job of containing Dobbs. I like their coach. He's confident and has the players attention. We won an SEC game. Go Vols!!

The way we started, we should have hung 50 on them! Disappointed in the way we played but sure as heck glad we got the W!

We seriously looked invincible those first two drives.

Everything changed with that 4th and short punt...

But like you said, I am just glad we won.

what I find funny is that people still think jones is a good coach. the hiring of debord was one of the worst in Tennessee history. jones hired him. the man has recruited incredible until this year. he CAN NOT COACH. how he landed a big time job I can't figure out.

recruiting is half of college ball

Coaching on the field hasn't been perfect but we are getting better each year under Butch.

I think butch has taken us as far as he can. I just can not see a coach as bad as he is winning 10 games in the SEC. I really don't think it is possible. just to conservative.

What's not funny is all the whiners like you that constantly fail to make a positive acknowledgment of anything. Vol fans like you give VN a bad name.

You are probably one of those people that have said that there are no moral victories. So, are you saying then that there is such thing as a bad win?

Judging by his three year resume thus far, I think it's more likely than not that Tennessee's coach has gone as far as he can go. You can look up plenty of facts that shows my reasoning.

The reality of 34 passes to 41 runs seems more balanced than the run, run, run punt fantasy you portray, but ok.

do I think butch has brought in better players and so we are playing better than in years past. yes I do. do I think we should be better than we are. yes I do. I see progress, but at some point you have to look at coaching and the excuses he is making and say something isn't adding up.
