Freak gave me permission to post this here so.. here goes:

My friends are selling their Middle Tennessee home. It is located in Bell Buckle, about 30 miles south of Nashville.

Asking price is $539,000.

2,400' grass airstrip, that is FAA approved as well.

Pristine property located in the heart of horse country. Up to 40 acres available. Main home with hangar and airstrip carries 21.15 acres for the $539,000. Two approved building lots and an additional ranch home by the same seller are also for sale.

For an additional fee... sure.

(Actually, there *IS* a Comp Air that might be negotiable. Guy built it in Florida, ran out of $$, diagnosed with throat cancer. My friend rescued the plane from Florida and parked it in his hangar.)

Good luck. Make sure you post an ad on Craigslist, too.

I don't think Bell Buckle is 30 minutes south of Nashville.

Thanks, I've posted to Craigslist, I have posted all over creation I think.

The friends, not so computer literate. They asked for my help. I spend one hour each day trying to find places to plunk a link to the website.

FTR... if anyone knows anyone who might be interested...

there is $1,000 in it for you. Really and truly. Owners will give $1,000 to someone if they refer a buyer who ends up consummating the transaction.

Nope... don't want to.

Truly I don't think a Real Estate Agent could sell an airstrip as well as another pilot can.

Real Estate Agents sure have value for typical housing, and maybe even a specialized one for this property, but for now...

it is for sale by owner. Heck, more bang for your buck without a real estate agents commission, no?

Heck, *I* would do that!

It is supremely peaceful there. I've been down to visit quite a few times... again in July if all works out.

Nothing like sitting back on the veranda, sipping iced tea... oh, sorry... sweet tea... and watching the clouds pass by.
