Before yesterday's crazy attempted hire, there seemed to be a lot of interest in Scott Frost from UCF. I understand that the Neb. job is open, but we need to go after him now! Make an offer that would bring him here. A few millions will change minds in a hurry. After yesterday we are going to have to over pay to get a really good coach anyway. Okay, then let's pay what it takes to get this ship turned in the right direction.
We also have Sumlin, Petersen and even Kiffin as possible hires. What say you Vol Nation? Oh, by the way, stopping yesterday's attempted hire was the right thing to do, regardless of what the media says! I believe Currie is a good man. He just made a mistake. We will recover. We just need to go get a really good coach!
What say you VOLNATION???

I'll play your game my friend.

1...Currie is hot garbage and should be fired NOW!

2...HELL NO to Kiffin!

3...Yes, we're going to be forced to overpay now and to give at least a 6 year contract to turn this ship around.

If we have to offer $6 Million or $7 Million per year plus really good $$$ to help our new HC hire really good coaches/recruiters to get us consistently back in the top 10 and beyound the simply DO IT!

We are Tennessee, one of the best footVol programs in history and our loyal fans DESERVE to have their long suffering come to a abrupt end.

Fire Currie, put Peyton and Fulmer in charge of hiring a great coach NOW.

Get Blackburn here NOW to help hire a great coach and get the assistants hired and get them on the road recruiting.

VFL...GBO!!!

This is absolutely not true. I can promise you no agent is telling their clients not to touch TN Football. The absolute stupidest thing I have read all morning. Where do people come up with this $hit sometimes?

From what I may have read on here, Jeff Brohm is the next man up. That guy won't leave Purdue after one year. Word is he is a quiet guy who doesn't like the limelight. Next on the list is Tee Martin. Give it to Tee, let him run it without interference, and let's go!

Was going to say that folks who made this business decision need to go take a couple of business classes...BUT, it is called the Haslam Business School. LOL.

they can say what they want but Schiano is done as a HC in college, may be done all together. UT fans may be the first but they wont be the last to uprise on coaching hires in the future.

That's BS. The right price will get a good coach. I will admit, that price went up after yesterday.

Caught your act in another thread. I appreciate your passion and principle but your negativity and approach, however pragmatic it may or may not be, it not needed or wanted by the vast majority of posters on this forum. In this time of unrest, we need to celebrate the unity of this fan base. Everyone in orange and white is scarred by a decade of bad decisions by the power players at UT. Notwithstanding the alledged negatives associated with Greg Schiano, I believe most Vol fans have watched enough football to judge for themselves what they think is the right fit to repair and restore a once proud but wounded program. They certainly won’t buy into what you are selling. Schiano will not be hired. It was botched from the word “go”. This hire was nearly universally rejected by fans, former players and major boosters alike. Time to move on from this. I hope that you can as well. I don’t believe that all is lost. This may be the groudswell that has been needed for years to bring it all together.
