Obviously we will not have the beef down low that we have had the last few seasons. However, there are several teams that compete with small lineups whether it be 4 guards and a post, or 3 guards/2 forwards. For instance, take Michigan's starters from our game:
G: Walton, Jr. (6-1, 185)
G: LeVert (6-6, 185)
G: Stauskas (6-6, 205)
F: Robinson III (6-6, 220)
F: Morgan (6-8, 250)
And they had Horford (6-10, 250) that came off the bench.

We will have similar size players in Reese, McKnight, McGhee, and Carmichael (Owens, too if he comes). They will just need to hit the weight room to bulk up some.
In essence, I'm not worrying too much about our size as much as their experience. But I will trust that CDT will find a way to make it all work in his system.

I'll take less beef if it can get up quicker and do the job in and around the rim over more beef that just hangs around down low and clears out some space with that wide body. :whistling:

Really think we try to run like a crazy paced game like the Nolan Richardson razorback's of old. With tons of pressing/defense in the backcourt and really try to wear teams down that way.

Doing that will hopefully negate some of the size disparity that we may encounter this season. I hope we run kind of a 3 guard 2 forward set. JMO though coach CDT will do what is best for us.

I'd love to have Stokes on this team. Get some rebs and can kick it out to our athletic scorers
