Like I said on the comments page of the article, he's the Blind Side on the other side of the line. We're all rooting hard for you Dan.

Looks like he reads VN, and no more green mile! I didn't like that one anyway. We are proud to have you here!!

He does. I and people far smarter than me told you folks players read message boards. Some insisted players don't pay attention to VN. They do. Posters who badmouth players, verbally spit at their coaches, and other negative things, it doesn't go unnoticed. For those say what's said here doesn't affect players, take note. McCullers doesn't like the Green Mile thing because it's too close to his reality where his father spent considerable time in jail. The man feels this remark about Green Mile. Players do have feelings and at some point it can affect their play.

[Ready to be lambasted by someone who wants to justify their continued negavol-ing]

The kids we're trying to recruit also DO read these boards just as many of us have tried to tell everyone.

There recruits and our current players ARE young people and DO have emotions and feelings and what we fans have to say DOES matter to alot of them so stay classy people because we want these young men to become Vols For Life and support our teams as long as they live.

As to Big Dan...I'd love to meet this fine young man and shake his hand.

He's worked so hard and come so far already and has alot further to go to reach his God given potential.

The deck has been stacked against him but he woke up and now sees the light and has set his jaw with serious determination to become the best he can become.

I'm so very proud of you young man and may God always bless you and your family.

Get our footVols fired up, determined and go beat those floriDUHHH boys on Saturday night.

Knock them around all night long and after the Tennessee WIN be classy, shake their hand and wish them the best for the rest of the season.

I really do like this big guy.

VFL...GBO!!!

Lots of great kids out there, even those who choice to go elsewhere but I do appreciate those who CHOOSE Tennessee the most. Hope all on our roster find success in all they do. Go big orange

Great great read. I hope all our fans actually read this and word gets out that he does not like the nick name of green mile. He has earned the right to be respected. Sounds like a great kid and I would wish nothing for the best for him after reading that no matter who he played for.

+1...

Great read..Feel like I know him a little bit better.

Sounds like he had a good upbringing under the circumstances.

Also, he reads VN and doesn't like the nickname, the Green Mile..Didn't really care for that one myself, Big Dan.

So glad he's a Vol.
