Can't wait to see where Tennessee's seat allotments are for us season ticket holders..cut off date is Dec. 5..

We got 6 tickets (only used 5) to the '98 ('99) National Championship Game and could have bought as many grouped together as we wanted much cheaper at the game. 3 in front, 3 behind, 6 together, 4 in front, 2 behind....any combination. We were surprised....although I didn't think FSU would have so few fans show up.
I bought 4 tickets from SnubHub at the end of 3rd quater of the Kentucky game. I paid 109 dollars per seat for a 60 dollar face value ticket, but if Tennessee doesn't go...I'm pretty sure they will sell. Here is the view from my seat at LP field behind the SEC bench.

BTW, I always buy my allotment via UT because that helps in the future with where Tennessee might get selected to go bowling. Bowls do consider how well fans buy the ticket allotments given to schools.
I was so close to ordering tickets...but this is the reason why I'm waiting for the official announcement. I don't want to be stuck with tickets for a Bowl Tennessee isn't going to.
Per NCAA rules which have been posted repeatedly that can't happen. All teams with a 7-5 or better record with conference ties have to be placed before any 6-6 teams can be selected. The only way we are not in the Music City Bowl is if only one SEC team is in the BCS, in which case we would be in the Liberty.Same here, I'm putting myself through college-definitely don't have the money to buy a ticket for something we might not even go to. I bet we go to the Gator bowl, with all these rumors spreading around. Where there's smoke there's fire
In that scenario the Gator would have to take a 6-6 team over a top 25 8-4 team. That is against both NCAA and SEC rules. There is no way that will be allowed.MyBlood that is technically true BUT in all due respect if we've learned anything about the Outback Bowl it's that bowls will bend the rules 2 get their team. Just like last year. If the Outback takes Florida, then I promise we will be in the Gator vs Michigan. It's a done deal. BUT that is only if the Outback takes Florida. If not it's MCB. So to recap IF Outback goes Florida then Chikfila will go SC, Gator will go Vols and the real mystery will be how far does Mississippi State fall. They may get treated like us in years past.
