Update:

If you have a question about Music City Bowl Tickets, the deadline for all orders is this morning, Thursday, Dec. 2nd. All lower level seats have been sold out and only Upper Level (both corner and middle sections) and Club Level seats are available right now.

All orders received after noon today will not be accepted and you will have to rely on TicketMaster or other individuals selling tickets.

he is referring to buying through the MCB.

Bought middle section tickets two days ago through the MCB website. I really hope the Vols end up there still

My parents decided to go, so I told them to get MCB tickets the minute we became eligible.

I wish I had the money to be able to buy tickets to a game before we even find out if we are in the game. Lol!

Cheapest time to purchase them is before they're announced. Get them just over face, and if your team isn't in the game, sell them for $50-75 over what you paid. People will buy them.

The only time I have ever paid face is when I bought tickets through UT as a VASF member. I have been to plenty of bowls and buy tickets below face at the game, no problem, ever.

There are thousands of lower level corporate seats going for very very cheap.

If you want to guarantee you'll have a ticket, as many people do, they'll pay well over face value. My dad is not one of those people. My mom is one of those people. Therefore, they already have tickets.

LOL This.

Works the same way with spouses. Sadly, my wife is UGA fan. Ain't no way I'm travelling wherever UGA is going. Although, if she threatens to take away my UT season tix, I may have to forego our bowl game...

I've been to the last 3 MCB's and walked right up to the ticket office and bought a ticket for $30. It's upper level but you could move down at half time and upper level isn't like Neyland.

Some people will overpay for anything I suppose. I was only pointing out that your claim of the cheapest time to buy is before team is announced is false. Especially for a non-BCS bowl.

The cheapest time to buy is 10 minutes after kickoff. I was simply meaning if you're getting a ticket before making your trip

Yeah, but the Vols are playing, so it will be a for sure sell-out, and I don't want to risk not being able to get tickets at a fairly reasonable price. I also don't want to go there, and not be able to get tickets, and miss some of the game on TV, because I am out trying to get them.

We got 6 tickets (only used 5) to the '98 ('99) National Championship Game and could have bought as many grouped together as we wanted much cheaper at the game. 3 in front, 3 behind, 6 together, 4 in front, 2 behind....any combination. We were surprised....although I didn't think FSU would have so few fans show up.

The cheapest time to buy is while you walk to the stadium. The most expensive time to buy is now.

If the Vols play in the MCB, it'll be 30 degrees on a Thursday night between two .500 teams in Nashville.

Tickets will be no problem.

Although I enjoy going to Tempe (especially Scottsdale, Sedona - pink jeep tours, Flagstaff, and a day trip to Taliesin West) the Fiesta bowl NCG will always be the easiest ticket of the BCS rota. LA, New Orleans, and Miami beat it out every time as far as winter vacation destinations.

Larry I find it interesting the deadline is this morning but your post was at almost 4PM. I guess you missed the deadline. :)

Sorry couldn't resist.

If the visiting team does not sell their allotment to season ticket holders first, they will offier for sale through their web site. Would be worth registering their as soon as announced to get on e-mail list to get notified when tickets for sale. UT's are in lower level and club level based on $60 and $80 price for MCM. UT ticket office said season ticket holders should be notified by first of week if their request for tickets is approved and if so, how many. I am going to register with other team if UT request not honored. Since I am Sports Council, I buy 2 50 yard tickets every year. Would be thrilled to get to see UT play at LP field.

By waiting til the last minute I got into the 1990 UT Auburn game at Aub. for $10.00. If I can pull that off, you don't have to worry about getting into some nothing of a bowl game in Nashville.
