Outback Bowl: Wisconsin over Tennessee
Wisconsin enters the game with injury concerns. Starting cornerback Aaron Henry tore his ACL and won't be able to play. Leading rusher P.J. Hill is also nursing a leg injury and iffy for the game. But there's just something about the Florida sunshine and bowl games that brings out the best in the Badgers, who are 9-3 in their last 12 bowl trips. It's just the opposite for Tennessee, which is 2-5 in bowl games (including a few stinkers) since the 1998 national championship season. The Vols will also have to wade through the distraction of offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe leaving for Duke after the game and likely taking some assistants with him. Until the Vols win another bowl game, it's hard to pick them.

I guarantee you that there are people that are reading this thread and agreeing with Chris Lowe and then defending Fulmer and his job stability. When are we going to say enough is enough?

I heard Low also said that the time isn't right for Kippy, Spence, or Marrone and Phil will keep looking for an OC. I guess that means nothng is going to get worked out with them?

there are only so many of those badges to go around and most of them have been dispensed here on the Nation

I think Low is just in line with the national perception that Wisc whips Tennessee. The only person that I've heard pick us so far is Jesse Palmer and he did his best to hedge.

ESPN poll has Tennessee favored by around 70%.

i wish that i would have watched Wisconsin play once or twice this year, to get an idea on how good they are. as always, i will cling to my hope of a UT victory.

They remind of last years penn state team on offense. But their defense is nowhere near as good as penn states was last year. Another team that if we don't come to play we could lose.

What makes you think this? UT is a 3 pt vegas favorite.

xactly. i don't know where this 'everybody picks against us' mentality came from. we are the favorites.

We have a ton more speed, should win easily. But there is this thing we have about bowl games. Maybe we should just skip all the pregame crap. Maybe they party to much or something. Wisconsin has beat a couple of sec teams the last few years down here. The perception is we don't show up for our bowl game and wisconsin does.

We may be the favorite in the eyes of the oddsmakers but our recent play in bowl games just won't let me put any stock in that call.

we lay eggs in meaningless bowls, which is fine as long as we stop doing so against UF and UA
