Easy with mass comdenations Junior-Some of us keep the faith down here (and our powder dry). My tickets for the next game in G-ville are secure. It's a disgusting stadium, but the Swamp Mollies are not bad looking......

Luther just needs some time back in the Homeland.

There definitely is some primo vajayjay here.

Well, howdy. I don't have alot of time for message baords, so longtime Vol, 1st time poster. I had my share of crow growing up in Gville, from Tee martin getting blown-up by an offside Alex Brown 400 times in 1 game. From Peyton's losing streak, Joey Kent getting slammed by Wright. The Jabar drop in 2000 I was almost beatup at a Gator Bar....but this last flare up has me worried...and not....'Fulmer too conservative, Spurrier owning us, UF and Meyer peeling off titles and a winning streak against us worried. Living in Gville has me worried that our team, fans and Football program as a whole may be nuked into oblivion in The Swamp. 1st off, we have alot of talent, 2ndly, our additions to recruting and defensive staff will help us win titles of our own soon....but the jury is out on Lane and IMO he has been an embarssment so far.

A guy who didn't know the rules ealry on for himself, a guy who now has made a guy angry in Tebow and Meyer with a track record of annihalating those who dare throw smack around especially rivals, just ask UGA and FSU.

The Vol-heart in me is glad we added some fire to this, Spurrier came to Gainesville in 90 and promised to deliver yearly whippings to UGA and that rivalry needed that and he backed it up. UGA did it to UF to add fire to that serieis and it backfired by dancing with the stars last year and they got a 59-10 beatdown... I think this was ill-timed, ill-informed and ill adised. ADD fire to UT-gators by thrashing them, winning East championships,SEC and BCS titles etc....UF is where we want our program to get back to. They have great academics, win titles, and while they may recruit aggressivley...they don't flasout cheat like Bama, FSU, Miami, Okl or OHIO st.

Look at our BBall coach, he saw where UT could go, embrace the best coach and improve on what he does and prey on his weaknesses... Billy D, challenged him on the court and in recruting and we own them now.

That's all. Just get your facts straight when throwing down smack and have a plan or a track record to back it up, he has neither so far....I'm not even sure he is the right guy.

Who's the right guy? The right guy, frankly, would have been someone like Urban Meyer. Someone who won a lot of games at Bowling Green, then put up a perfect season at Utah, and then after all that scratching and clawing got the job at Florida ... where he won two national championships in his first four years.

Rural Kiffin has no status, no standing, no résumé. He was born the son of longtime NFL assistant Monte Kiffin and hasnt done anything to shopw me he can do this.

Look, the guy could flop at Tennessee, a passionate recruiter like Zook who babysits the program until the next legend comes along....thats how UF did it....nobody wanted to follow Spurrier so they got a recruiter to buiold for the next Champ coach..

I'm not ripping him for his passion. Want to win at the highest level in college football? Then you better have some killer instinct. Meyer has it. The entire Georgia sideline celebrated a touchdown against Florida in 2007 by running onto the field, and Meyer retaliated one year later by winning 59-10 and calling two late timeouts to rub it in.
For a guy who doesn't have much time for message boards, that's a mighty long first post.

Ok, I will stick up for the guy a bit and support his points with just one.

One side says Kiffen said some pretty inflammatory things, wrong in most cases and that it was a strategy of his to act this way. Others say, who cares, he did it on purpose to stir up the crowd and we need that.

My biggest question mark on his motivation isn't his comments, it is when that high school coach texted his player, Kiffen took the phone out of his hands and pretended to be Richardson and texted back.

Now you can tell me that Kiffens comments were inflammatory with purpose but that other action tells me that his actions arent on purpose, he simply behaves like a , well a 16 year old kid.

Coming from a Gator fan you can take my comment with a huge grain of salt but a team takes on the personality of it's coach, and if that personality conisists of doing teenager level acts on adults who have a recruiting relationship with him, or accusing other coaches of cheating or lying (I tend to believe Al Davis more and more in spite of Al Davis) then the least of your worries should be getting a thrashing from a SEC team next year. It should be that future years, your teams personality and level of character will cooincide with the way Kiffen behaves, and in the interest of competition and keeping the SEC the toughest most feared conference in the country, I feel very sorry for your situation.

Sorry sir, we do not know who you are talking about.

I don't believe this is a UT fan at all. A professed G-ville resident with a first post, copy/pasting a Florida rant against "Rural" Kiffin (that's where the "Rural" Kiffin name first showed up, by a UF journalist painting Kiffin as the inferior, anti-Urban).

Go away. Nice try.

To the OP..... exactly how does OSU, FSU, OU etc. "cheat" at recruiting? Just cause they get Top 5 classes every year doesnt mean they cheat.

Wow what a tool. This portion of his quote is directly from this article:

So are you Gregg Doyel?

I didn't read his whole post. I stopped at the above quote. I look at it this way. What comes around goes around. If the so called great and mighty CUM, runs the score up on us, he will get his. Do you think for one minute that CLK wouldn't pay that back and more when our time comes to look back down at the Gators.

Lets just play the game and see what happens. I'm thinking we have enough talent on this team to make it a good game, couple that with new and I hope good coaching. We have a good chance to win it.

What CLK did was very minor in comparison when it comes to a pi$$ off when you look at what Fulmer did to Bama. We will survive the sun will rise in the east and set in the west. The blowhards from gator country needs to get ready for the beatdown they will soon be receiving. It is time for the UF to show us some R-E-S-P-E-C-T which is something that has been missing for a long time.

HELL YES ! :dance2: :good!: :salute: :pepper:

All this pub is great. They are paying attention to us because they're scared. They are scared that the sleeping giant on the hill in east Tennesse has finally come back to life and it scares them to death. I say give'em Hell CLK and don't let up just because you stepped on someones toes. Piss on Florida and Bama and GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!!!! If you are scared of CUM and anyone else that might be offended take your orange off and get on out of here.

Oh boy, I am a resident of Tallahassee and I get crap from FSU and UF fans. I moved here for military purposes, however; born and raised in Kingsport up until 2 years ago. I take in so much pride for the Vols and support our team here with pleasure! I've even converted my bf a lil bit. He's an FSU fan, but the Vols have started to grow on him. He see's the passion and support of the Vols. I've clued him in on the stats compared to FSU and he watches the games with me. The way I see it, that's one more fan we can add to the fan base!

I'm really wanting to go to the projected "chicken bowl" but I don't know if I can afford the tickets. It would be nice if they offered military discounts for Armed forces. Anyways, I'm excited for next year and I hate to admit this, but I've never been to a Vols game, but that's because I was raised very conservative and couldn't afford it when I was younger. Now, I live in Seminole country...blah! I can only imagine what it's like to go to a game. :( I've watched games, youtube videos, and got pictures! I can't wait to move back and finally go!! I miss TN!!! I wish I had someone in Tallahassee that liked the Vols as much as me so we could have "Vol" talk. Just wanted to say hi. I'm sort of new here.

I hope no one believes this troll is actually a UT fan.

You have to give them credit, though. They're doing a far better job of blowing smoke and trying to write from a fans perspective (i.e. one of our own). They'd do much better if they stayed to debate rather than post and run away. 10 months and then nothing... yep, there's another Tebow man-lover.

I hope you're not referring to me! As I was born in Sullivan County, TN...Colonial Heights and went to Sullivan South High School and was a dancer on the school's team!!! I have you know that as a TN native, I have to state...1) No wonder people judge us with people writing stuff like that! 2.) I even have my fb and myspace on there! Oh yea and my cell phone area code is 423! Not to mention, I transfered from the 991st Transporation Company also in Kingsport!!! OH wait, got my Splash Country pass right here too! Anything else you want to say to this "TROLL."

I quoted "Florida" trying to see if there were any Vols fans in Fl, Tallahassee area. I wanna go to the chicfila bowl (given its official) and if I can't go;it would be nice to have someone to watch the game with at a sports bar or something? I really am from TN...ask me anything? I went to ETSU elem ed. Major too. I'm sort upset that people weren't too friendly given I defend our team, coaches, and fans in our rival state. This aint Nevada, this Florida. We hate Florida and Alabama. Idk I'm just shocked I guess :)

Seems like if you went to ETSU, then you should know that "Gville" to many Tennesseeans is in the only state that is worth anything, the home of former Vols, Leonard Coffman, Dick Williams, Dee Reviere and Dustin Moore. Maybe you shouldn't assume we would think Gville is somewhere else.

Pardon me, I apologize if I assumed "Gainesville" for Greeneville. It said "Gville" when I searched Florida, so pardon me for getting excited if there were Vols fan in FL. Not only that, but I left ETSU right before BCT in 07'. Also, I'm taking online classes to finish my degree because I wouldn't disgrace myself by getting my degree at a Florida school because I'm a dedicated Vols fan. Add me on FB or myspace if you don't believe me. This is retarded! IM FROM KINGSPORT....Tri-Cities so blah!:eek:k:
