My neighbor saw me before the game and he said he bet on the Gators giving 6.5. I had to laugh at the end of the game when UT was down by 5, missed a shot, and made a "nothing" foul with 2 seconds left. UF makes both FT's to cover!

If that game isn't enough reason to not bet on sports I don't know what is.

Anyway, UT proved it can hang with the best. They just got sloppy in the 2nd half and still had a shot to win it. It sucks to lose but they're still ballin' on D. They just can't afford the O droughts.

14 points in the second half. I think that's the only story people need to address. You would think florida's defense would fatigue as the game went on because thats how normal human bodies work, but it seemed to be the opposite. You don't win many games when you scored 14 points in either half. Even when its a low scoring game. Holding florida to 28 points in both halfs is very impressive, but offensively, that has to be a huge worry, only 14 points in one half.

I was on a betting forum and the books lost a lot of money on this game. All the square money was on UF +6 and the line never changed. The books were begging you to take UF as they felt UT would cover. My jaw dropped when Young was fouled with 2.4 seconds. Unbelievable. Even more unbelievable that he made both free throws. Vegas didn't like that ending.
