Bucsfan and me watch football every Sun. and it is go Colts, Bucs. It was my idea for him to make this thread to get the VN blood going. He is a good guy and LOVES football. I was wondering Hats take on Monte also.

He tried to get away from the orange uniforms forever, why would he go back? And I talked to Monte over the weekend and he said it was shenanigans :)

There ia a saying in these parts: Put your money where your mouth is or shut up...whats it going to be?:whatever:

Its all speculation! Keep that in mind.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting Kiffin will join his son, Lane, who is taking over as head coach at the University of Tennessee. Mortensen reports Monte Kiffin will finish the season with the Bucs.

Monte hasn't denied that report!!!!

One factor that I have not seen posted among all the reasons Monte Kiffen might come to Tennessee is so he can be near his grandchildren and family. I am sure that is of great importance to him at his age and money is probably not the deciding factor. I hope he decides to make Tennessee his home for a long time.

Read on the Buc's website that Lane told the team, in the team meeting, that his dad will be joining him.

Not questioning your logic however the money/age/family angles have already been discussed heavily here.

There was a link to an article from Tampa, in another post yesterday, containing quotes from the Bucs general manager stating that he knew what was going to happen with Monte but that he would not comment on it. Plain logic says that if Monte was not leaving, the Bucs management would have put it to rest right then. Monte will be here.
